Swinton's 1st Anual Student Show & Sale Gala was a great success. A mixture of about 300 paintings by instructors and students covered every inch of every studio and hallway. For many people, this was a first opportunity to participate in an exhibition, to see their artwork framed, presented to a public audience, and to sell their creations. So many proud faces. Congratulations everyone and a very special thanks to the volunteers. You are AWESOME!

Congratulations to all the artists and to the organizers. I was most impressed with the quality of the art at the show, especially from the younger-aged artists. Their work impressed me as often times the quality and subject matter made it hard to discern their work from others.
