Born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Cary Nord has been passionate about drawing from an early age. After attending one year at the Alberta College of Art and Design, he broke into the comic book industry at age 19 and got his first assignment at DC Comics. Cary had title run's on Marvel Comic's Daredevil and Mutant X. However, he is best known for his long run as the artist for Darkhorse Comic's Conan series, during which time he was awarded a 2004 Eisner Award. Some of his recent work can be seen in Marvel's Ultimate Ironman vs. Hulk and Secret Invasion:X-Men series. Cary still lives and works in Calgary. He is currently working on various projects with several major publishers in North America and Europe.
