Hello everyone! Here is a forum chat where attendants can discuss shared accommodations, transportation and helpful tips. To start it off here are a list of accommodations from Sue Contini! She is still in the works of getting a block of rooms booked.

Thankyou for this information, I am really glad to see this post. I also want to recommend you to try this Atlus Catherine Costume.
Looking forward to this! We are fortunate to have friends who live on Salt Spring and have a cabin on their property so we are good for accomadations, and because we actually live 3.5 hours from the coast we will be driving our own car. If anyone is in a jam and needs a ride from the Vasncouver to the island, I might be able to help out if it corresponds with travel times. Cheers!
Fantastic! Thank You - Great info and answering a lot of the travel/art supply questions. The retreat sold out before my friend could get her ticket, so if one more opens up, please let me know :). I'm really looking forward to the retreat, and I'm wondering what Easel/Tripod people have found works best for the weater at Salt Springs? I have a small pochad box, I think it's too small to work. Have been looking at the New Wave u.go Plein Air Anywhere Large 11x14... Would love to know what everyone is using for Pouchade/Easels?
I have found a someone to share the cottage with me. Thanks to all who helped Nancy and I connect!
I am flying to Victoria as the prices with Westjet are excellent.
I am interested in sharing a 2 bedroomed cottage with a woman.

Oh so sorry Nancy!
Thanks Sue. Just to let you know, my name is actually Nancy. Thanks.
If there is a woman who is looking to share accommodation, please let me know. I will also be driving to the island.
If you'd like a nifty thrifty way to transport wet paintings, check out this blog by Marc Dalessio! He uses slices of wine corks to keep his wet paintings apart while transporting them - others use matchsticks with the burny bit snipped off. Clever clever folks!
