The Richeson Adjustable Pine Lyre Easel is perfect for artists living on a tight budget and in a tight space. Beginning artists or students working in a small studio, dormitory, or at home are sure to appreciate its traditional three-legged, A-frame design. The easel features a small footprint, folds flat for storage, and it's light enough to transport in the back seat of a car. It also tilts forward and back, tailoring the angle of the canvas to each individual artist's painting style.
 
The Richeson Adjustable Pine Lyre Easel accommodates canvases as large as 77" (196 cm) high and as small as 8" (20 cm) high. The top canvas holder measures 14" (36 cm) wide and the bottom canvas holder measures 26" (66 cm) wide. The easel's height when folded is 67" (170 cm) and its extended height is 100" (254 cm). When fully open, the base measures 26" W × 30" D (66 cm × 76 cm).
