Date & Time: Saturday, February 1, 2025 9:30 - 3:30 pm Sunday, February 2, 2025 9:30 - 3:30 pm (1/2 hr. lunch daily) Instructor: Gaye Adams Mediums: Oil or Acrylic Location: 7160 Fisher St SE, Calgary, AB (Swinton's Art Supplies) Level of students: Some painting experience is required. Maximum Students: 12 Bring life to your paintings by getting the lighting right. Achieve a striking sense of light in your work with demonstration and guidance from Gaye Adams. This two-day intensive will be all about getting the light to read in the landscape and will include instruction, demos, and paint-alongs. If you are having trouble getting a compelling sense of light in your landscapes, this is the workshop for you! Day one Gaye will provide the photo reference and will demonstrate. Students will paint along with a reference Gaye will provide. Day two students will bring a reference of their own and be coached one-on-one at their easels. Gaye will be working exclusively in oils, and for that reason I would suggest students do the same; however, acrylicists are welcome. View the supply list at checkout or on our Art Workshops page.
