Portrait Watercolour Painting Workshop Sunday, January 12, 2025 9:00am - 4:00pm Level: Beginner-Advanced. Instructor: Emma Rach-Syslak Location: 7160 Fisher St SE, Calgary, AB. (Swinton's Art Supplies) The portrait painting in watercolour workshop is an immersive and creative experience that invites participants into the captivating world of watercolour portraiture. All skill levels are welcome. You’ll learn techniques such as colour mixing, brushwork, and layering. Whether you’re a novice eager to explore the magic of watercolour or a seasoned artist looking to try something new or refine your portrait skills in this medium, this workshop can offer you the tools to create beautiful watercolour portraits. Supply fee (per student): 10$ for the pre-drawn portrait on watercolour paper. Included in the workshop fee. Supply list for students: o Watercolour and/or gouache paint: Black, yellow ochre, Venetian or any Earth Red o Palette o Watercolour brushes: 3 rounds: 10, 6, 2/0, or any you already have. o 11x14” MDF or wood board /similar to tape your paper on. o Masking tape What will be provided: - Pre-drawn portrait on watercolour paper
